How We Engage

The stages of a market entry consulting engagement — from fit call through evidence, recommendations, and optional field work.

Market entry consulting works best when both sides know the sequence. This page outlines how Pacific Market Entry Partners typically runs an engagement for export-oriented businesses.

1. Fit call

Thirty minutes to confirm product category, capacity, certifications, and whether our Australia–ASEAN–Pacific focus matches your aims. No fee.

2. Written scope

We send a one- to two-page scope naming deliverables, timeline, fee, and exclusions. Work starts after you accept and the deposit clears.

3. Evidence pack

You share pack artwork, lab results, price lists, and prior overseas notes. Gaps here are the usual cause of timeline slips.

4. Analysis & checkpoints

We research, score options, and hold scheduled reviews so surprises surface early — especially when a favoured market scores poorly.

5. Delivery & next decisions

You receive the pathway, brief, or search pack plus a walkthrough. Optional next steps — distributor search or a scoping visit — are quoted separately.

Working rhythm

Most Pathway and Search work happens from our Auckland desk with video workshops. Scoping visits are scheduled only after a market is chosen and a meeting agenda exists. We do not sell open-ended retainers as a default.
